Fabrizio Trotta was
born in Paola in 1973, where he currently lives and works after
a long musical and artistic experience in Milan.
From an early age stands out for his rich character of sensitivity
and feeling, his passion for communication, for the open and sincere
dialogue that led him inevitably to show a particular interest
in art in its different ways of expression.
His unconscious and natural attraction for life and its colours
drives him to explore the wonderful world of painting… that
contemporary painting by subject, by project, for implementation.
He leads a diversified research that detonates his creativity,
embracing different styles and techniques. He feels a strong and
uncontrollable need to reconcile, in his work, the spiritual and
conceptual side with the tangible side of life that lead him to
the creation of textural and relief surfaces.
Complying with the wishes of his parents he moved to Milan to
undertake university studies; he degrees in Computer Science,
but he never renounces his passions and his dreams.
To establish a physical contact with that wonderful world of the
music, he graduated in Sound Engineering and becomes a musical
arranger and producer; so, he gets the right training in order
to interpret the sound vibrations that “introduce”
into his work as a visual vibrations. He obtains gratifications
with some productions released by record companies such as EMI
and BMG.
In his quest for consecration of what is his other great passion,
Fabrizio Trotta modulates musical rhythms with stuccos and cement
mortars that become sound and harmony in the shade of colours,
and, he inserts, set in a precise breakdown of plans, instruments,
musical scores and LP, as an evidence or a story… a tale
of emotions and of a strong desire to reveal them.
So, conscious of the daring path, nowadays, after several approvals,
with his works present in collections in Italy and in some Europeans
countries, he begins with seriousness, professionalism and ambition
the tale of his hopes and his certainties, never the same but
however unique and sober,
recognizing in the spiritual masters of the past the instrumental
spur that allowed him to find his own way.
His works are published on the Contemporary Art Volumes, Yearbooks
and specialized Magazines.
